The Busiest Week Eva!! Is It Really The End?!

Salam..

Sorry you guys.. It's been a LONG time since I last updated.. Yesterday I opened Google Reader, and there were 100 new posts that I haven't read!! Woah!! Some of you got really active yea... LoL.. Last week has been hectic, and I'm proud to say I managed to refrain myself from going online just for fun for one whole week! Usually, I went online to read blogs, emails n YM for about 2 hours minimum daily. Anyway, it's not that my "busy, busy, busy" mood is over, but at least some burden has been lifted. Wanna know how my week went? And if someone noticed that what I went through is a bit like his, well, coincidence do happen, my friend... =p

Monday
Woke up with constant sneezing n starry eyes.. *.* Started my part for the integrated project.. Hehe.. It's not that I wanted to start late, and in fact, I did part of it first, but got stuck coz I did some part of the calculation wrong.. Huhu.. Gotta recalculate.. During English class, I had a case of identity crisis coz Mdm called me Ilyana, everytime.. But, she kinda looked 'through' me, so I thought she meant the girl behind me (which, coincidentally, her name is Ina). That is, until after the demonstration part of our meeting (in front of the class, so kelakar coz everyone is watching... haha..) where she called me Ilyana again n d whole class laughed and corrected her.. And here I thought she confused Ilyana with someone else. Lol.. And pointed out by Mdm to be a group leader for the evaluation part.. Man, gotta organize meeting(s) ASAP..

Tuesday
Woke up with pounding heads and runny nose.. Aiyaa.. It's such a hassle when you have to deal with a flu at one time you're so very busy. And my mom's interview is that day, and so many things happen at once. Got project discussion and I volunteered to combine all the parts.. Met with Ethics group for updates.. Being told that we had a problem coz 2 members did the same part.. Huhu.. Nevertheless, it fot sorted out dy, so soon we'll just have to prepare for the presentation...

Wednesday
My flu got 'upgraded' to a full-force fever.. Ugh.. Demam n selsema, the 'best' combination ever.. Still doing the calculation plus drawing using AUTOCAD which I've totally forgotten how to use.. So, with a box of Kleenex as my constant companion, I went on, clicking here and there to draw that vessel.. Haha..

Thursday
Cannot 'tahan', so had to went to the doctor.. At PK.. With so limited time to finish my part n do the template using Excel, thankfully the meeting went smoothly.. Had English class from 5 - 7, and practiced for the evaluation next week, but practice here meant laughing along with some quick brainstorming with my groupmates.. Decided to have another meeting to practice coz the evaluation is on Monday. Then, discuss with English project's group mates to settle the executive summary, decided to complete it Saturday.

Friday
Went for the industrial visit at CCM Fertilizers, Shah Alam.. Due to some miscommunication about the time, only 14 out of 24 went.. We all 'kalah' to 2nd year juniors coz all of them went.. LoL.. Came back at 2, had a quick lunch and try to finish typing my part of the project. Had a meeting at 3 till 5, decided to practice for evaluation on Sunday.

Saturday
Discussion for English, and decide to cancel the Sunday practice.. Postphoned to Monday, 11 - 12.30.. =)
Finished AUTOCAD
Finished English Executive Summary
Finished Mechanical Design of the Bioreactor
Finished combining all the parts from my project group
Finished combining the templates for Utilities Design

Sunday
Finished the minor details and went for printing (my printer ink is dry... *sob*). Photostated for each of the lecturer, all in all, my Integrated Project titled "Production of Cephalosporin C by Cephalosporium sp.", which is 115 pages long is officially DONE!!!

I'm so very happy, and relieved! But it's not over (walaa, kinda reminds me of Daugthry's It's Not Over pulak...).. My list for this coming week :

1. Monday - class ( 10 to 11 ), practice for English evaluation (11 - 12.30), THE evaluation (12.30 - 1.00), submit INTEGRATED PROJECT!!!
2. Tuesday - Still not sure whether to submit the Ethics project on this day of during the presentation.. =( But, gotta make sure tomorrow! ;-)
3. Thursday - Submit my English project, along with a presentation (our lecturer calls it conferencing though.. ;-) )
4. Friday - INTEGRATED PROJECT PRESENTATION... Wah, so nervous la.. Haven't done the Powerpoint yet.. Haha.. Who will be the 'lucky' ones???

Oh well, gotta go.. Will add some more posts soon.. =) And wish me luck ok.. And to all others who are also very busy-busy-busy, GAMBATTE!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

Sometimes, I got tired of saying the same thing, over and over again.. I'm busy.. How many times have I wrote that word? In my posts, there's always 'that' word present, and I know it's not always an excuse. Nevertheless, I still want to say it,

Everyone, sorry for the lack of updates here, and comments at your respective blogs.. I've been busy this week.. =)

Haha.. Can't resist, really..

Anyway, just a quick one actually.. I still have to do my quiz (there's 2 in fact), and submit it tomorrow, projects that I haven't started yet, english extra works that I've neglected, and friends I haven't messaged to ask for their numbers..

Well, just in case you didn't know, I've lost my phone last Tuesday.. Very careless of me, and very inconsiderate of the person who took it.. But still, life must go on.. I bought a new phone, using up the last of my $$$ in my bank account (waaaaa....) and now am a proud owner of a Sony Ericsson K320i phone.. =) It's quite cheap (after all, I am on a extra-tight budget, right?), but still, I'm satisfied with it.

Double Celebration

Salam..

As busy as I said I was, it’s never too busy to have a celebration, right? Well, this time, it’s for not one, but TWO of my friends.. Hence the title : Double Celebration..

Whose birthday is it? Well, lemme take to to a walk down memory lane…

1st Celebration – Mohamad Hilman bin Nordin

Coming from the same school, I must admit that back then I didn’t know him that well.. Even though our classes are right next to each other, sadly that is still the case.. We had english class together (at least, if I remember correctly, it was in Form 5) though, and that is when I knew he had a flair for writing..

Flash forward a year later, matriculation life begins.. And guess what, he is also at the same Matrix college.. KMM – Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka.. 1001 memories was built this time and this is where I truly felt that I belong.. Even though it was just a year long stint, still, those times were the best I ever had.. But one thing I remember is that I was involved in a somewhat-motivation-camp then done at Genting Highlands, where I realize once we got into the bus, that indeed, he was also going for it.. =) Kelakar kan bila ingat masa tu.. And when you asked to borrow my phone that day, I was shocked.. Hehe.. Yup, I still remember that incident.. Haha.. Yela, masa tu ingatkan ‘org tu’ dah tak ingat kat org kat sini.. So xdela tegur... After all, I was ‘pemalu’ back then, right??? Hehehe…

LoL.. Jangan marah k.. This is all in good humour.. Anyway, in university, I begin to notice the relationships between me and those back at Semashur time were slowly disintegrating.. Yes, a lot of my ex-schoolmates did get into UKM, but a big portion of them had chosen medical or health field, whose campus in in KL.. (Oh, and did you know I used to live in Bandar Tun Razak at the place where HUKM now lies???) As for me, 3 people were in my Faculty, Wan, Firdaus (pidod) and Faizal.. So, bit by bit, the familiarity (of myself la, I didn’t know about others) with those schoolmates of mine (other then those I mentioned earlier) vanishes.. So, it was a curious thing that these bonds seem to be renewed through the wonderful world of the internet..

It is through blogging that I renewed my friendship with Hilman.. Through his thoughtful writing, his creative (and double-edged) short stories, his own perspectives and drawings, I began to sort through the many layers that is Mohamad Hilman bin Nordin. And I know with the passing of time, all the things that people have gone through, will change them in the way they think, speak and express themself. And sometimes, the going gets tough, but always remember that as long as you have faith, it will work out in the end.

This said, I would like to wish you, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! Semoga panjang umur & murah rezeki.. May all your wishes come true.. And, I’m glad to have you as my friend.. =)

Sorry for the disturbance... Oook, not confusing la, but if you’re not accustomed to her style of writing, surely you’ll feel a bit lost.. Hehe.. But one thing for sure, what she writes, comes straight from her heart (at least, that’s what I think.. =) ) and it’s funny and sometimes emotional.. Another thing to add is that dis girl’s favourite words are, “update2!!”

But nowadays, ‘someone’ pulak yang dah ambil alih tugas itew.. ( Siapakah dia??? Jangan biarkan hidup anda diselubungi misteri.. Orang itu, tak lain tak bukan ialah …….. Ahaks, entahlah, beta pun tak tau.. Ada sesapa yang nak ke title ni? Bgtau eh.. =p )

Oh well, what I truly want to say is, “Happy Burfday, miss teddy!! Bila dah habis rehat puas2, UPDATE blog tau! Muahaha.. Sawang-sawang dah ada balik..”

Anyway, even though we never did meet in real life, I hope this friendship last.. And I’m so glad that you did *that* celebration for me.. Terharu! That day I wanted to make a speech ala2 gaya pemenang kat Oscar tu, tp sebab writer’s strike, tak jadi la pulak sebab skrip da hilang. LoL..

And this is something I made up (hehe.. more like, edited...). Sowy if it's so simple.. =) Working with MSPaint here.. LoL.. Photoshop xde.. (Kalau ada pun, xpandai pakai.. Hee..)

Salam..

After previous posts regarding tags, I think it's due time to add a *real* post to this blog of mine.. And thanks to hilman and kamal who jointly agrees that "tag is not an update!!", I feel compelled to write the 3rd/5 post.

3rd/5?

Well, this is already 5th of March, and basically, this post is the 3rd post this month, so it figures.. =) Anyway, I know, I know, I've promised to add something about my *Shades of Happiness", but this time right now, the materials are not prepared yet.. Hehe.. Just like I said in my "Chef of February" entry, the things I cooked up, would only be deemed worthy to be eaten in due time, so patience, my friends, is a virtue that I ask..

Oh well, I think I'm rambling up there.. Forgive me if there's some confusion or anything.. It's totally unintended.. ;-) But what I'm really going to blog about today is mostly about the updates in my life this past few weeks..

A lot of things happened, as usual (after all, I'm convinced that everybody would always be facing different sorts of things and events everyday in their life) and we are now, officially entering the exponential phase of our semester life.

Exponential phase?

Well, in a nutshell, exponential phase is a phase where, if you're talking about growth mechanism of microorganisms (hehe.. I know this is bio field, and some loathe this while others lurve it, but please bear with me, ok), the microbes is having it's most accelerated growth. They eat quickly, they digest it quickly, they multiply rapidly, and a lot of products is being formed in this phase..

This is analogous to what I'm facing right now, only that the eating part is more about 'eating' all the knowledge and digesting it inside my brain to be stored and assessed later, while at the same time, multitasking between assignments, labs, projects and industrial training while having midsemester exams in the course of two weeks..

So, forgive me for not visiting other blogs yea.. Hehe.. Have been soaking up info from books and memorizing and studying and having exams, my head feels like it's going to explode! Haha.. But, it feels good though, coz for me, by being busy, it pushes me to do better and try to fit a lot of things in a short time frame.

Pressure = Hard work = Success???

I certainly hope so!

Hehe.. Oh well, just now, I was sitting for Bioreactor 2 exam.. 4 questions in 1 and a half hours, and still I think I need more time.. Then, afterwards, I feel so drained that the first thing I do is blog about it.. Haha.. Who knew that writing could be a balm for an impending headache?

Nevertheless, still got a lot of work to do.. Replacement classes to go, another exam this coming week, the GE, a competition whose proposal is almost done but not quite completed, lab report, vessel mechanics design for my project, english project regarding new innovation (where my group chose something that we named 'TechnoBin' ~ can anyone guess what it is??), ethics project regarding Bhopal etc...

Man, I need a break! Who can offer me a 2-way flight ticket to Bintulu so that I can see my bestfwen?? Email me, ok..

PS : By the way, I 'sempat' watch a movie ~ The Martian Child. Quite a good movie, heart-warming and funny (although at some points in the movie you would really be questioning whether the child is indeed from Mars or so, and there were some jokes that could have been in the sense that it did not quite register to me..) But all in all, it's a good family movie, and not for you guys who preferred actions than words. =)

Referring to yesterday's post, this is part II.. Actually, yesterday I was in such a rush, so I just Ctrl + C the questions and added my part, and there's actually two parts of it. One is the one I already did, and the other is "8 Random Facts about Me".. Hehe.. Sounds familiar?? I think kamal would know, because he tagged me *ages* ago, and I never did it, yet after 2 more person tagged me, well, there's no lazing away then..

8 Facts About Me:

• I love cats!! Hehe.. And usually when I'm at home, I talk to them.. Funny? Well, that's just the way I am.. A picture of two of my cats lounging in front of a neighbour's house :

• I sing while washing dishes.. =) Haha.. Well, singing is therapeutic to some, and for me, a self-appointed music lover, trying to sing is just as good as listening to it.. Though sometimes I didn't realise that I'm humming under my breath until someone pokes me and says, "Hey, you like that song??" Ooops, malu la pulak.. LoL..

• If I'm wearing shoes while driving, usually I will take them off.. Haha.. Dunno if others do that, but I haven't seen it yet. Weird? It depends.. I did that because I don't want the shoes to be folded at the middle, and then there will be a line at what was supposed to be smooth.. =)

• I love the color purple! And one thing remains the same until this day, my purple mechanical pencil that I have since Form 3.. =) And a bronze bracelet with purple beads that I bought with Dilla, still looks fine.

• I like watching animes! From dark themed animes like Blood+ and Hell Girl to funny ones like Ouran and Negima. I love 'em all! ;-) Though I gotta admit, I haven't watch any since the start of this semester although Nad has lent me her copy of Fate/Stay Night and Dilla gave me a few of series that I haven't yet see.. Haha..

• I doodle, a lot!! My friends have already known this particular habit of mine, and you can see almost all my books/notes are scattered with em. I doodle when I'm bored, I doodle when I am studying and I doodle when I did my tutorials.. ;-)

• Like I said, I like music, but I do listen to oldies!! =) Hehe.. I remembered one time when a friend borrowed my mp3 and she finds 'Heaven Knows' inside it, and she said,"Eiii, lagu ni bukan dah lama ke??" and that kinda sums it up. Yep, I do listen to LiteFM, and not ashamed to admit it! =p

• I don't like wearing name tags! Usually, I go extra lengths to avoid wearing 'em, even when at Pusanika (coz a lot of my friends would wear it just in case our honourable security officers would stop us and demanded an explanation. But me? Hehe.. Just try to keep my eyes open and zig-zag-ing my way to arrive to my destination without hassle. But, I do like to wear it if I'm wearing my lab coat. Dunno why though.. Haha..

Anyway, that's all for now.. And for hilman n kamal, don't worry, I'll post my new update asap.. =) But, thanks for coming anyway.. LoL..

Just to add one thing, this Wednesday I will be having another mid-term exam (Bioreactor II) and to add to that, there will be a lot of replacement classes and laboratory works, so will be a bit busy.. =)
