Reunion Revisited...

Salam..

It's so hard to believe that this year is coming to an end. And adding up to that, my classes are about to start. Officially, the new semester would start this Monday, although the very next day will be a holiday, so don't know if any of my friends/coursemates would come. I will though, coz haven't got the timetable yet.

Hehe..

Anyway, enough about that, my real intention for this post today is to post about the reunion for my class that I've mentioned earlier in some of my posts. I've promised, haven't I?

=)

REUNION OF EX-3A (CLASS 2001)

The day started with me driving off to Mines. Arrived at about 11 am, and meet up with Safra, Yus and Hanif at the bowling alley. We thought that we were early, but guess what, the place is FULL!! So, we waited for the rest of the gang and willing the time away with chatting around. At about 11.15, Shamina came and soon enought the others began to come in. Nazrif came with Aizuddin, Adi and Azham while the girls, Farah and Faharina bringing the rear..

The place was packed to the brim..

Luckily we had empty benches to sit and chat..

Still chatting while waiting..

The girls : (l-r) Safra, me, Farah and Shamina

Finally got two lanes empty, so it's time to play! And chat, btw..

Sham flushing because she managed to fell some pins. Congrats!

Ooops, I think it went the wrong way.. Hehe.. Nah, just playing around..

The marks for my team. Mine was the winner, and me, the 4th place individually out of 10 who played.. Haha.. Told you I'm out of practice..

Daytona. Shamina managed to beat the boys, not once, but TWICE!! Haha.. Sham, you rock!

After a full day, what do you do?? Eat, of course!! =)

Anyway, it was a great day, although not THAT many people came.. A few was still having classes, and couldn't come. Others have other arrangements that can't be changed. But, all in all, it's been fun. Hope we'll be able to organize better (and bigger) reunions in the future.

BTW, thanks for reading!

A Rift in Time..

Salam..

Sorry for the lack of updates.. Just got my results, and it shocked me to no end.. Suffice to say that it did not meet my expectations.. Or my parents'. So, I need to strengthen my resolve and try harder for the remaining semesters.. All I want is the chance to get first class.. Hopefully I will be able to.

Anyway, there's a lot to tell. Reunions (my friend already uploaded them), results (hmmm... I wonder...), my trip to the East Coast (which went very well despite the flood situation.. Seems like our family had went 'langkah kanan' and avoided all dangers. Managed to go to Kota Bharu, Kuala Terengganu and Pahang, and among the last using the Jeli-Kota Bharu road, which is truly a nightmare), food (hehe) and movies.

But then again, I'm going to have to limit my internet usage. I will post them, don't worry, I'll try! And thanks for those who came here, expecting an update but didn't get that, well, this post is to tell that I'm still here..

=)

Oh well, insya-Allah will post later..

Till then..

And thanks for reading!

A Reunion..

Salam..

Actually, there's so much to tell, but sometimes, things just don't happen the way you planned it. Last Saturday, I went to Mines' Wonder Bowl for my class reunion, and guess what, it's great! I met a lot of my friends whom I haven't seen for quite some time now (there's this one girl I haven't seen since after Form 3, can you imagine?! hehe..)

Form 3?

Yep, you read right. This reunion is for my class of three years (1999 - 2001), 3 Agama.. We were in the same class since Form 1 because our class is the somewhat-experimental-class to take Arabic Language for our PMR, therefore we started studying Arabic in Form 1. Therefore, we are a lot more close-knit (I hope) than our other schoolmates. It so happens that 2001's 3A was the ONLY Agama class surviving until it's third generation, so the term kinda sticks..

Hehe.. Now I'm confusing myself.. Don't mind me yea, I'm still reeling from my sleep-induced light-headedness.. =)

Oh well, I was hoping to post the pictures ASAP, but it so happens that only one of us brought a camera along, so right now, I'm waiting for him to upload a picture.. Hehe.. But, I have, in my possession, a few pictures of those times.. Wanna see?

Class photo.. =) I know the pictures are not *that* clear, but well, those were the times when digital camera was unheard of (or is it just me?? LoL)

The girls of 3A.. After some heated discussion, we all decided that this is after getting our PMR results.. Hehe.. Their faces don't change, I tell you.. =) Hehe.. Not that mine did, but still...

The boys.. Hehe.. Funny seeing them again after so long.. Their faces also remains the same.. =)

Oh, and azwan, yep, azuan izadee ( @ wea ) was my classmate.. =) Can you recognize him in the picture??

By the way, my family has been organizing a trip to the East Coast starting this Saturday until 19th December, but the news of the floods are making its mark.. But still, we will go ahead with the plan, insya-Allah.. May Allah protect us from any harm or danger..

Hehe.. Oh well, I will post later.

Thanks for reading!

Intermissions..

Salam..

Sorry for the lack of updates.. =) My Dad has been talking to me about my time in front of the computer.. Seems like sitting upright in almost 2 hours (per seating) is quite bad for my health (and my posture!) so he's been advising me against it..

"At least, take a 5 to 15 minutes break after one hour la.." my Dad says..

Oh well, I'm a bit grouchy about that but looking in his perspectives, yep, he's right.. All those studies done by researchers do prove that too much exposure to the light (radiation) and even the way you sit while surfing the net (or dota-ing as lots of my friends are doing as I speak) can effect your health.

Anyway, what have I been doing?

Actually, this last two weeks have been used to reconnect with old friends, and organizing our class so-called mini-reunion.. Hehe.. We decided to play bowling, girls VS boys. Venue? Mines Wonder Bowl, because apparently, that's the most appropriate place for us as the majority is living in Serdang with a few at Bangi and Kajang..

Here's a snapshot of the poll done:

Hehe.. This is taken from our forum.. =) I know (2x) that only 12 voted and 10 are in favour of the activity, but this is where SMS and YM play their part.. As of now, the girls is more than the boys by 2 person.. We'll see on the day, guys!

Anyway, tomorrow is the day, and me being out-of-practice (actually haven't been practising at all), hopefully I won't be embarrassing myself too much.. Hee..

Will post pictures of the outing later, Insya-Allah..

Thanks for reading!!

PS : For Hilman, Kamal, miss teddy, Azwan, Wan, kd and others' blogs I've always frequent, sorry for the lack of comments and such. After tomorrow, Insya-Allah I'll be free.. =) Till then..

A Birthday Wish...

Salam..

Today is the 1st of December and for some, you might recognize this day as the World AIDS Day much to the displeasure of my Dad though, because frankly,

IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY!!

Hehe.. Poor Dad.. He really hated the fact that this date is chosen as that day.. Anyway, doesn't matter Dad, thinking about it in another way, well, a LOT of people remembers/celebrates/reminisce on this day, so in a way, the whole world remembers your birthday..

Hehe..

Oh well.. My point here is actually, it's been a full life, and a roller-coaster ride with you Dad, and I'm glad that you're here with us all along.. You've been there when it's tough, and in some way, I'm glad that with this ever-changing life, you still stay the same.. Thanks Dad, love you so much!

May you have a great life hence forth, with many fond memories and granted wishes.. And we hope you'll life through this life with all the graces and wisdom that you've always shown..

Lastly,

And thanks for reading..
=)

PS : I wanted to post about the KMNS day and something else, but it seems that it will have to wait yea.. Don't worry though, I'll add 'em up as soon as possible.. ;-)

Pizzalicious??

Salam..

It's been a busy weekend, and I've got a lot to tell.. There's the heading back to Ipoh post (this time, with pictures!!), then me being a facilitator at Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan the day after the Ipoh trip, those movies reviews I promised and yada..

Anyway, I think I better start from the beginning of my holiday.. As I've said earlier, my exam was finished on Wednesday last week, so the very next day, Nad and I went to the Mines. Surprised? Hehe.. Actually, some would be wondering, why did we go there when there's so much more places to be (read = more interesting, fun etc)..

Well, the truth is, we went for the sake of restocking our DVDs.. Hehe.. Me with my animes and Nad with her movies.. =)

Hehe.. Surprised, aren't you?

But, first things first. After arriving, we had already planned our time.. 1 or 2 hours browsing the DVDs, 1 hr lunch, and the rest for miscellaneous.. Set!

But, just after buying some magazines, with Nad searching in vain for her Apo magazine, our stomach started voicing their disagreements..

Krrreeeuuukkkkkkk...

Ugh, better get some food down there.. So after weighing all the options available (not that there's a lot of them), we decided to go to Pizza Hut.

Guess what we eat??

TADAA!!

Hehe.. I chose the Calzone (which is the giant-karipap thingie) with Cheese-baked Meatballs plus Puff Pastry Soup, while Nad had the Deli Chicken Wings, Prawn Olio and Mushroom soup..

Yummy!

A Long Overdue Update...

Salam..

It's been a while since I last posted, but this time I'm NOT complaining! Hehe.. Actually, I was busy revamping this blog of mine. Like the new design (although of course it's not MY design, per se, but I did arrange all the widgets and edited some mistakes in my last few posts)? I hope you do.

Anyway, nothing much to tell, other than these few days after exams has been relaxing and quite busy. My last paper was on the 14th of November, which is last Wednesday, and barely 2 days after, my family and I were already heading back to my grandmum's home like I said in my previous post. Yeah, I did the driving, all the way actually (and proud of it!) while listening to the songs I've burned in a CD. Nothing like music to sing along to when the other occupants of the car are asleep! =)

The driving was OK although the stretch from Tanjong Malim (or was it Bukit Beruntung) to Slim River is still not finished, so I really had to pay attention lest I drive headlong into the dividers that narrows the leftmost lane. It is quite scary sometimes, cause one small mistake and you can kiss the scratch-free body of your car goodbye.

Oh well, that's life, I suppose. Oh yes, another thing, my Grandmum is here in KL because she didn't want to stay alone at her house. She's staying with us maybe till next week or so, and I'll stay at home to 'teman' her coz my Mom and Dad is out working.

By the way, I did manage to went out with my bestfriend Cha last Monday. We went to Mid Valley and watched a movie.. Bee Movie actually. Anyone seen it yet? Hehe.. I wanted to review it now (although I did, in Flixster) but maybe later yeah, coz I've seen a LOT of movies these past few weeks, and never got the chance to rave (or rant) about them yet, so keep your fingers crossed! =)

Back to Cha. Hehe.. Miss her so much! Last time I see her was a few weeks before the semester break last time and that a LONG time ago. Unfortunately, I think this is the only time I managed to see her, because she's going back to Terengganu this Saturday while I'm undisposed this week at home.. Huhu..

Bad things aside, really enjoyed our outing. A lot of stories were traded, pictures taken (although we only have a VGA camera among us so don't expect the quality to be that good, hehe), movie watched, eating and drinking, played at the arcade and yada yada.. The main point is, I LOVE IT!

=)

So, on to the pictures :

At KL Sentral.. =)

The Christmas-related items at Metrojaya Mid Valley. Everything was so white, and red. Hehe.. Pardon my pose, but was tired already at this point, and my facial muscles are screaming, "No more exercises!!" Hee.. Just joking..

My dearest friend, Cha.. =)

Lastly, this is the picture of us both.. Friends forever!!

That's it for now.. I'll post later, ok.. =)
Thanks for reading by the way..

Free at Last!!

Salam..

I'm finally FREE!!

"From what?" You ask..

Hehe.. Actually, I had just finished my final exams.. It's a big relief, you know.. And although I'm not quite satisfied with how I answer certain questions in the 5 papers I had to sit for, I know that I did it at my best ability at that particular time.. After all, there's no use crying over spilt milk, right?

Oh well, tomorrow, me and my family will be heading out to my grandmum's house. I'll drive, for sure, coz my dad is quite unwell starting yesterday, so I'll be facing a long drive tomorrow. Hopefully I'll reach my destination safely, no?

=)

By the way, I was going through my email yesterday and come across this :

And, another one :

Isn't it beautiful?? In case you're wondering, it's a cherry blossom tree.. Usually found in Japan, they're one of nature's most beautiful tree (or is it flowers?)..

Hehe..

That's all for now though.

Do tune in.. I'll try to add something up ASAP..

And, thanks for reading!

Mindless Ramblings

Salam..

Honestly, I don't exactly know what to write right now. There are dozens of things that I want to share, but so little time.

Hee..

Anyway, I was supposed to update my Friendster blog today, but have been spending more time to revamp this Blogger blog. Like the new template? I Googled for some new templates, and found this one.

Like it? Hate it?

Tell me..

Till then, ciao!

Friends..

Hello!

Thanks for reading..

Let me start by asking,

What are friends? Are they someone you just feel comfortable talking to? Or is it the one you spend all your time with? Or instead, you think friends are the ones who stick with you, no matter what?

If you answer yes to the first question, then you are a bit unsecure, and you're shy with making friends. You probably don't have many friends because someone new would make you feel itsy-bitsy intimidated.

Yes to the second question? Then you might have a few good friends, and you spend all your time with them, and expecting them to do the same for you. You'll feel jealous if they don't, and sometimes your friendship suffered because of this.

Finally, if you answer yes to the third question, then it might be possible that you don't have that many friends, but the ones you have are worth keeping. That is the kind of friendship that would strive throughout everything, and that is the kind of friendship I'm *dying* to have.

Then again, you ask,

What if I answer yes to every question??
Hehe.. I really wouldn't know. You'll just have to ask your counsellor or psychiatrist. =p

Oh well, I'm actually in a very bad mood right now, but writing helps me to deal with it, you know.

You know what I hate most? Writing something, and nobody seems to care. I've written all kinds of blogs these past few years, but none really took off, except for one I've kept at Friendster for 3 years (or more, I don't remember) and that's only because at Friendster they have those email notification when your friends updated, so that really don't count.

Huhu.. It seems like I'm dying for some attention. REAL attention, not artificial ones where you won't even bother to read and just commented on something because you don't wanna lose your face by not leaving a comment.

It bugs me, you know. It bugs me A LOT.

So please, I don't care who you are, or where you come from, just leave your comments here and I'll die a happy woman!

Haha..

See you later, soon-to-be friends!!

Salam..

My first entry EVER! Hehe..

I'll add something up soon. Don't worry, I will.. =)
